Beauty Tip #84: Have you been using your hair grips incorrectly? I bet you have!

When using a hair grip, the bumpy side needs to be on the bottom (so to say).  The bumpy side creates friction with your hair which allows your hair to stay in place (It gives it “grip”!)  The smooth side should be what is visible.
