Saw It.. Wanted It… Had to Have It!
I have literally no self control.
*sad face*
If you follow me on Twitter you might have guessed that I didn’t stick to my spending ban. I did purchase a few.. tiny… little… things *winces* which kinda just led to me recreating The Hangover in Boots in terms of getting messy and *ahem* up. All the details of what I bought will be going in tomorrow’s post (if you forgive me by then *extra sad face*).
But this post is about a particular item that I just needed in my life. I am talking about the Models Own Mirrorball Collection.

I love nail polishes and I love Models Own. I finally managed to complete the Hedkandi set (I know right! How long has it been out and all?!) after my local Boots (the big one in Leeds City Centre) just refused to restock on Ibiza Mix. I went in every single day for a month as a sales assistant told me that they had deliveries everyday and the shelves were filled overnight/in the morning, which was a load of lies to be honest. In the end I snapped like the proverbial twig and after half an hour of spelling out “Hedkandi” to the very sensitive sales assistant (a different one) I ordered Ibiza Mix. It arrived a week later and now I’m the proud owner of the full set. Finally.
So when Models Own announced a new line of glitter polishes, I decided enough was enough. Firstly, I was not going to wait around for a month for them to be released and I wasn’t going to pin my hopes on my Boots store stocking them when they did come out anyway. As soon as they went live on the website I was huddled under my desk adding them to my online basket (it’s a good job my boss wasn’t in!).
At the time of writing this, they are currently on their way to me in snail mail. I just cannot wait to get my hands on them and then get them on my nails (see what I did there?)
I do hope that I am forgiven for my lack of self control, but one day, just one day, I will run out of things to buy. Just maybe.
In my defence, it looks like everyone is on some sort of spending ban so actually… I am supporting the economy by continuing to spend… That’s what I’ll tell my bank manager anyway…
Are any of you on spending bans? How is it going? I bet you lasted longer than me!
